A beautiful poem by Misari Parikh

ANGEL

A pair of Chelsea boots,

A floral Gucci suit.

Fingers with polished nails

And wore a couple of rings.

Left arm covered in tattoos

Of a heart and a ship and an anchor,

Right as clear as water.

Chest filled with birds and butterfly.

Sea green eyes with the brightest shine,

But cried more than any other eye

Smile that lit up everyone’s world

With a deep dimple of joy,

But one of those which hid the deepest secrets.

Heart so pure, that when one touched it,

Her hand would cover in gold,

But had faced the most pain.

A man with a dream

A man with hope

Who saved millions and more.

Truly said he was

An angel

Whom the world needed and had

But didn’t deserve anymore.

A Poem on School Days by Sharanya

School Days

A whisper to a friend,

A secret to a friend,

The fun on the grass,

We are the naughtiest class.

The dance on the desk,

Just no more rest!

The laughter on a chair,

The joy we share,

The fun on the field trips,

They are the best to live .

The April fool tricks,

The smiley’s and the kicks.

The fun and being “cool”

That’s what days are at school.

The last cookie we share,

For each other we do care,

The learning so much to take,

The buddy chats during short breaks,

A shoulder to cry on,

To support friends are born.

Punishments together we take,

Besties together we make,

At the campfire we want to dance!,

To show our spirits,

It’s the best chance !!

A Poem on Best Friend by Sharanya Singh

My Best Friend

My best friend

We are lying on the grass,

Smiling at the sun,

Laughing loudly and having fun.

We are painting pictures in the sky,

As the birds fly by.

We do not care about a thing,

And just hear the music and sing.

I remember when she was a loser,

And not cool.

I remember how she helped in times

Of difficulty and drove away my fear,

How she laughed when I tripped,

And made me trip again,

How she gave me her umbrella in the pouring rain,

I remember being helped by her everytime,

How she loves reading novels of crime.

How we two have had the most crazy conversations,

How ours is the best of all relations,

I lay down next to her,

Imagining our friendship lasting forever.

A Poem on the importance of Mathematics by Chinmayee

Maths

Maths , maths everywhere

Try to learn if you care.

The subject in which children cry,

Makes the mind of people fry.

Practice makes it perfect

But still ,the answers are incorrect.

Tons of practice books of maths,

But R.D Sharma always makes a path

To tell the truth,it is easy

No need to feel uneasy,

Maths is important in our lives

Without which the life is all blank,

It is as important as honey in the beehive,

It is as important as oxygen to our lives.

An Article on Titanic by Mandar Kirkire

Mystery of titanic

We all knew that titanic sank due to an iceberg. Well, scientist proved it wrong. R.M.S titanic was so big that it was indestructible and a high-quality metal was also used to built the massive ship. Recent findings state that there are many ways due to which R.M.S titanic sank. The first reason states it was due to fire. A journalist, Senon Molony was studying the fate of titanic for more than 30 years, it is he who discovered a 30 feet long black spot at the bottom of ship. The fire was burning for at least 3 weeks, at a very high temperature. Scientist announced that this could easily make a metal weak by as much as 75%. That’s why the iceberg was possible to make a massive hole at the bottom of the ship. The management actually knew about this but if they would stop the ship from its journey then it would be bankruptcy for them. The second reason says that there were no binoculars on the ship. But the binoculars were locked in a room, the only person with the key was the second officer David blair, he was replaced at the last moment. He forgot the key to give to the new officer. If the binoculars were there then the crew could get to know about the iceberg from far away. The third reason states that the ship was moving at a very fast speed. The ship was not designed for this purpose. The forth reason states that there were not adequate boats. For a ship like titanic it needed 60 boats but the management ignored it and added 20 boats on the board because at that time the law stated that the number of boats were not compared by the number of people instead of it, it was compared by the tonnage of ship. Another reason was that at the time of sail, rescue drill never took place. Last reason was that at the time of accident only 47 people were on each rescue boats but the actual amount was 65 persons. This was a very big mistake due to which two third of people of titanic lost their lives on that night.
