A Review of ARTEMIS FOWL By Raghav Dhupar

Artemis Fowl-Book Review
Excerpts from Artemis Fowl:
1)"Butler dropped the first with a roundhouse punch. Two more had their heads clapped together, cartoon style. The fourth was, to Butler's eternal shame, dispatched with a spinning kick."
2)"'One blue rinse and our losses are minimum.'                                                 Blue rinse was the slang term for the devastating biological bomb used on rare occasions by the force. The clever thing about it was that it destroyed only living tissue. The landscape was unchanged."

I have just begun reading the Artemis Fowl series and it is amazing! The book revolves around mainly two characters-Artemis Fowl, the protagonist and Captain Holly Short of the LEPrecon(pronounced-lep-rE-kOn)unit. It involves fairies but not the classic image of them-winged and with wands. Instead, every magical creature is described as a fairy in this book. From goblins to dwarfs to elves.
The story revolves around how Artemis legally(emphasize) steals real gold from the fairies. The fact that he has an IQ of higher than Einstein also helps. Also, he is twelve years of age. His ultimate aim, to restore the family fortune after the (supposed) death of his father.
LEPrecon(Lower Elements Police reconnaissance) is the reconnaissance division of Lower Elements Police. Captain Holly Short, an elf and also the first female to join the reconnaissance division of LEP is the  entity without which Artemis cannot get the gold.
The series has eight parts and me, personally, I am on the second part. I developed interest in the book when I read the graphic novel which  my friend Jash, gave me to read and after that,I wished to read the original. So, here we are.
(Best part-You can get it in our school library!)

A small article for all Music Lovers by Misari Parikh

MUSIC
Music is one of the most amazing things happened to me. I have tremendous interest in music. But the question is what is music. To many people music would be an art form and cultural activity, but to me music is something which makes me feel the emotions, feelings and helps me concentrate into certain activities. Music not only helps me with concentration but also calms my mind and makes me think about the things, like what would it be if we had not been given our respective lives or like what would it feels like to fly high into the sky and see this world from a certain height like a bird, or what would it feel like to swim in the deep crystal clear water of the seas and oceans like a fish etc.
Music helps me to discover new ideas, new outcomes and above all how I think about myself and how I feel about other people. It happened recently, the time when I was sitting in the park listening to music and thinking about the people in today’s world. And suddenly it popped into my head that what the world would be like if there were no greedy men, no unruly people, no bad people, just a world filled with kind and compassionate people, who would treat each other with equality and love each other like their own. But sadly it might never be true.
Music has always probably been my best friend whenever I feel down, happy, sad, excited or lonely. Whenever someone asks me what is the greatest invention of all time I would say music and it really is! Don’t know for all but definitely for me.

A Fascinating Poem by Chinmayee Pandya

Window Side

A place in the house,
Which is fascinating
For all the seasons round,
The joy it is creating

In summers,
Bright sunshine passing,
Through the window
And the flowers murmur

In monsoons,
Sitting by the pane
Watching the crystal moon,
Feeling the drops of rain

In winters,
Running to close the casement
So the cool breeze do not enter,
And spoil the embracement

Whatever the mood is,
Sitting by the window
Makes our heart satisfied
And ourselves as bright as,
Light!
